88TH GENEVA INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW

88th Geneva international motor show is one of the largest exhibition around the world, its history goes back to 1905, and since then the fair has been developing, showing stability and strength in the face of difficult times. For that reason, it has biggest number of exhibitors and world premiers, unveiled annually by the leading car companies. This year around 180 participants, over 110 premiers and nearly 900 car models are displaying within the exhibition.

Obviously, the motor show is an important and exciting event for all car enthusiasts. If you are one of them, then you have ten days days to discover amazing cars and check latest development.

CAR OF THE YEAR

Car of the year is an international award, given to the stunning new car. At first, jury is selecting finalist, and then voting for the winner.

The jury, that consists 60 members, representing 23 European countries,has voted and the winner is......

Congratulations to the team. This Volvo is first ever compact SUV and looks really impressive. It is smaller than other cars in the same series, powerful, sharp and modern. This elegant car with a great performance and highest safety standards will defiantly attracts young people.

FUTURISTIC SELF-DRIVING CARS

This is another booming trend. I have never seen so many concept cars. This thrilling evolution of the driving culture is going to be game changer. For instance Volkswagen is ready to release there first self-driving car in 2020, with further pushing the boundaries by using VR oculars instead of steering wheel for controlling the car. I was very excite to discover this new prospects and looking for forward to try them out.
